Visitor Info

PEEL MARINA
Peel Sailing Club extends a warm welcome to all visiting sailors
The clubhouse has shower facilities, a well-stocked bar, pool table and darts board.
Access to the showers outside bar hours can be obtained by contacting Peel Harbour Master or the Club Secretary, details are posted at the clubhouse.
Swing Bridge
The swing bridge is opened every half hour - call Peel on VHF Channel 12 during working hours (8.00am - 5.00pm)
Outside normal working hours, call Douglas on VHF 12.
NOTE: The predicted times of the flapgate operation can be found on the Isle of Man Government website but these timings are not exact; particularly on neap tides. There are visitor moorings in the bay during summer but can be an uncomfortable ride, particularly when the wind is in the North to Western quarter.
Berths
Peel Harbour offers deepwater berths at the Breakwater, which can become heavily congested by fishing vessels and other visiting craft throughout the summer months.
There are berths and pontoons in the inner harbour.

Harbour Notices to Mariners
Please see the downloadable documents section on the Isle of Man Government website for current Notices to Mariners:

Mobile Communications
The positioning of the island can create a "black-hole" for mobile communication.
If you use a mobile phone, check that your roaming coverage includes the IoM.
The IoM is not part of the UK or the EU and so roaming charges will likely apply.
