Officer of the Day (OOD)
A yacht or a person is allocated to provide race officer duties for each race. That yacht will be awarded third place (3 points) for the race concerned if because of their OOD duties it is not able to compete. If that yacht allocated is unable to officiate on the specified day/race then the skipper must arrange for another OOD to stand in. Contact Mark or one of the other regulars for advice on any aspect of being an OOD.
